Name: Cecilia Mergunt
Age: Appears to be about twenty-two or so
Gender: Female
Height: Five foot eight
Weight: One-hundred forty pounds
Class: Water
Biography: Born to a female kelpie and a nix, Cecilia grew up in a large lake with a group of perhaps ten or so kelpies. From a young age, she was taught the basics of her kind: how to manipulate water and how to lure people in. Water manipulation came easy, but luring in prey was hard. Eventually, she found that seduction wasn’t her niche, but song was. It would draw in men and children, who would then reach out to touch her and be stuck, only to be dragged to the depths of the lake and devoured. It is for this reason that she doesn’t sing for enjoyment, but rather just for food. She lived in that place for a century or so, maybe more, before she began to grow bored and, uncharacteristically, decided to make a change. Using her knack for water manipulation, she managed to get a job teaching other water elementals at Elemental Academy and enjoys it very much here.
Other: She prefers being called Miss Cecilia over Miss Mergunt by her students.
Likes: The water (obviously), swimming, talking with her students and fellow teachers, writing, and reading. She’s an avid reader.
Dislikes: Being too far away from a body of water is her main one. She also dislikes cleaning, being tied down by obligations, and when people don’t make time to just relax.
Personality: Like the water she loves so much, Cecilia is generally tranquil, relaxed, and calm. It takes quite a bit to work her up and throw her off track. However, she can use her charm as well as her charisma in her favor, which is a trait many kelpies tend to carry. As a teacher, she prefers a relaxed and self-lead classroom style and doesn’t freak out if the entire lesson isn’t completed in one class. She does have some odd punishments up her sleeve for those who choose to slack off, though.
Good qualities: Calm, friendly, and helpful to those who ask. Cecilia rarely seems to be in a bad mood.
Bad qualities: She’s disorganized and some may say a bit too willing to just let things be. Also, there’s the topic of her transformation...
